Today we continue on the theme of flowers with a few of my favorite iPhone shots from the last days of that old year, 2010.
These cabbages were captured at a small, virtually hidden garden behind the Kern County Recorder's Office (Hall of Records, corner of Chester and Truxtun) in downtown Bakersfield. This office is over a hundred years old--the oldest government building still in use in the county--but care is taken to keep the grounds pleasant and well-groomed.
