Storm clouds

February 18th has been a blustery day for Californians. Although I didn't brave the wind for new photos today, I did pull these out from two months ago, Christmas 2010, when we experienced a similarly stormy day.

Hello there...

When I was little, my favorite books were those which told a great story and had lots of pictures. It was the words that fed my imagination, but the pictures that captured my attention!

As an adult, I've realized that I enjoy telling stories with both words and pictures. (I've chosen to make my pictures with a camera, however, because I can't draw to save my life!!)

Current projects on this page include the "Subterfuge Studios Project," which showcases local artists in their personal creative spaces, and "Eureka Street," which features vintage and thrift store finds. My personal musings, favorite things, art event previews and reviews, as well as my own photography round out the gamut of my posts.
