Red light.

Too tired to think and too exhausted to write. My brain is flashing a red light at me and unlike the real one which I distractedly blew through this morning without pause, I need to heed its warning and get some rest!

(When even this looks comfortable, you know you need some sleep.)

Hello there...

When I was little, my favorite books were those which told a great story and had lots of pictures. It was the words that fed my imagination, but the pictures that captured my attention!

As an adult, I've realized that I enjoy telling stories with both words and pictures. (I've chosen to make my pictures with a camera, however, because I can't draw to save my life!!)

Current projects on this page include the "Subterfuge Studios Project," which showcases local artists in their personal creative spaces, and "Eureka Street," which features vintage and thrift store finds. My personal musings, favorite things, art event previews and reviews, as well as my own photography round out the gamut of my posts.
This is my blog; this is my journal; these are my days.

Thanks for visiting!

Image Producers

Currently I shoot with a Nikon D90 and an iPhone 3Gs. Just for fun, some images are produced using Photobooth on my iMac.

Some older shots posted on this page were taken with a Nikon D40x or, if I was in a particularly nostalgic mood the day I posted, possibly even an old Kodak point and shoot.
