Luckily, I am blessed with a generous and patient fiance who doesn't mind being my assistant as I scamper around in the rain looking for an interesting shot. Tonight I offer a photo of one of our beautiful, yellow roses.
Last year this bush bloomed with the most long-lasting, fragrant, completely yellow flowers, yet this season we have noticed considerable speckling. If anyone has a theory on why this bloom appears to have the measles, please let me know!
